Smoothie Bowls are and amazing way to get your fruit fix. I loved them so much at one point that I had a smoothie bowl for 2 meals a day. You can get creative with your favorite fruits, nuts, proteins etc. Here is what this pretty bowl of color is full of.
1/2 – Banana
1/2 – Kiwi
4 – Strawberries
1/4 c. – Blueberries
5 – Blackberries
5 – Raspberries
1/2 c. -Spinach
2 – Whole Mushrooms
1 Tbsp. – Peanut Butter
1 c. – Chobani Non Fat Plain Greek Yogurt
3 Tbsp. – Vega Sport Vanilla Protein Powder
5-10 – Ice Cubes
(If you aren’t sure about veggies in your smoothie no need to add the spinach and mushroom. I find that the mushroom gives a nice thickness to the smoothie without adding any flavors.)
1/2 – Banana Sliced
1/2 – Kiwi Sliced
10 – Blueberries
2 – Strawberries Sliced
1 Tbsp. – Whole Chia Seeds
Other tasty toppings include sunflower seeds, coconut flakes, goji berries, and flax seed powders)
- Get all your ingredients together. And place them in your blending container.
- Blend the mix for 30-60 sec. or until smooth and thick.
- Pour the smoothie mix into a bowl, add the toppings, and taste the rainbow for your next snack or meal.
