Blueberry Chocolate Mousse

Chocolate Mousse…made with an avocado? The first time I ever made avocado mousse it was not the best experience. Definitely didn’t taste how I wanted it to. This recipe though turned out to be a nice thick texture with a hint of fruit. Perfect with a slice of my flourless dark chocolate cake (see the recipe). Very delicious and like everything I make nice, easy, and relatively quick.


1 – Whole Avocado (ripe but not brown)
1 c. – Blueberries
1/4 c. – Cocoa Powder
1 Tbsp. – Honey
1 Tbsp. – 3 Tbsp. – Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk (start with 1 Tbsp. then as needed add enough to blend, but don’t let your mix become watery)


  1. In a food processor or blender mix the avocado, blueberries, cocoa powder, honey, and milk until thick and smooth.
  2. Scoop out into small bowls or a small container to store. Chill in the fridge for 30 min.
  3. Enjoy a healthy, creamy chocolate treat whenever you desire.
