Pan Seared Scallops and Veggies

A nice dinner with minimal ingredients and cooking. For any one who loves seafood scallops are easy to buy frozen or fresh and a great source of vitamins and minerals.


4 – Large Scallops
1 tsp. – Basil
1 tsp. – Oregano
1 Tbsp. – Garlic and Onion Seasoning
2 Tbsp. – Balsamic Vinegar
1 Tbsp. – Olive Oil
5 – Baby Carrots
5 – Brussel Sprouts
2 – Mushrooms


  1. Put pan on medium high heat and add some water.
  2. Chop your veggies up and place them in the water. Add the scallops as well. Cover with a lid to steam.
  3. Once steamed for an initial cooking period. Add the balsamic vinegar and let cook uncovered. Stir as needed. Flip the scallops over as well to evenly cook both sides. Add the spices to season the scallops. Add garlic and onion seasoning to the vegetables. Use more balsamic as needed.
  4. Remove and put your meal on a plate. Drizzle the olive oil on the vegetables and scallops. A lovely evening meal right at home.
